Paul had a gargantuan breakfast. This is good as he needs to make up for a lost kilo.

He is doing his physio diligently and improving his mobility.

He did some painting in his room where he remains isolated. This is actually beneficial as he needs some calm and rest, away from the continuous movements and noises in the ward.

Thanks to Skype, he had a long discussion with Peter in Germany with whom he spent some great time last summer:

Paul had a chest Xray today which was normal. These are done regularly as lungs are the preferred location for metastases.

We also got the result of his foot MRI: Mini fracture which explains his pain over the last four weeks and which is probably due partly to a physio who hurt Paul when doing some exercises post-surgery and partly to phosphate deficiency which Paul is now making up with supplements. Physio will continue, focusing on the whole leg, away from the foot which should heal by itself over the next few weeks.

The surgeon is otherwise happy of the wound healing and the overall mobility.

And Paul's spirits remain as good as ever.
